Hi My Name Is Rosa

Hi everyone, and welcome to my blog! I’ve always wanted to start a blog, but it’s one of those projects I’d build and then leave behind. Well, that changes now! With a little push from my marketing communications professors, I’ve finally committed to creating a space for me and my thoughts.

In full transparency, yes, the construction of this site is for a grade. But it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while now. As I enter my third year of full-time work and began pursuing my MBA, it feels like the perfect time to share what I’ve learned, what I’m learning, and what I hope to learn. I have many interests, and creating a platform where I can share them is truly exciting for me.

This blog will mainly focus on my expertise in marketing and student life, but I’ll also explore topics I’m diving into, like politics and diversity. And sometimes, I’ll just talk about things I enjoy—whether it’s writing movie reviews, poetry, or navigating life in my 20s. This space is casual and open for sharing and connecting.

And yes, I know it might be strange blending my professional writing with my personal but all of these things makeup one thing - me! Having a holistic view of people allows for deeper connections and humanizes us. It’s easy to forget that everyone—from the CEO to the bus driver—face their own battles and victories each day. By sharing multiple sides of ourselves, we offer a fuller perspective.  If we all took a moment to recognize our shared humanity, the world could be a bit more understanding… Maybe even more peaceful.

I appreciate anyone taking the time to read and join me here. Community is one of my most important values, and I believe that learning from each other is not only a great way to collaborate but also a way to make knowledge accessible to all.

I’m excited to keep writing and establish myself in this space. Thanks for being part of the journey!
